There was a paradox that aroused my curiosity and amazement on life. There is a scripture in the Bible that talks about how with more knowledge comes more sorrow. It presented itself as truth in my life when I was emotionally, mentally, and spiritually adopted by a family. As a result, I was able to gain knowledge on what it feels like to be loved and cared for. But on the other hand, I realized how much I missed out on love and care for the past 18 years of my life since my parents divorced. I became curious and amazed by how something can bring you so much joy, but causes you just as much pain. Being with that family, to this day, is my greatest joy ever, but the thought of not having them my whole life has caused me so much pain which amazes me and stirs up my curiosity.
